AAPLU organize state level coordination meeting, several issue of workers/labourer community discussed.

NAMSAI, JULY 10 : The All Arunachal Pradesh labour union (AAPLU) on Saturday organize state level coordination meeting and several issue of workers community were discussed and resolution to the effect was adopted.

The meeting was held under the chairman of its President Dana Tadu in which the central executive body members, advisory board members and delegates from 25 district of state including women wing take part.

Various issues pertaining to district level and circle and block level issues were discussed including welfare activities for the labour community were taken up and deliberated by the district unit President and General secretary.

In a press release issued by AAPLU President Dana Tadu said that the coordination meeting was necessary and the meeting held at Namsai was a fruitful wherein the grievances of several district unit were placed before and was discussed and several issues with regards to strengthening of workers community and its organization at grassroots level were taken up. Issue related to welfare and other issue like job regularization, providing of benefits by the government and statutory and non-statutory benefit to the working class was the part of agenda as a welfare measures for the benefit of the working class and their family. Said Tadu.

A minutes was drawn and the meeting resolved to take up few important points which include that the AAPLU demand regularisaton of casual labour who has served more than 15 years their services in department in various department of state. He said.

The AAPLU demand continuation of head counting process in every department so that surplus or mismanagement may be able to check. The union will soon submit a memorandum to  Arunachal Pradesh building & other construction welfare board (APB&OCWWB) with regards to  Registration officers (RO) who is not properly functioning their duty on postings district and block. It was also decided that the 10th AAPLU foundation day cum Coordination meeting will be held at Tawang on 21st December’ 2022

AAPLU general secretary Tamuk Tabin, Namsai district unit President Kange Ratan and other central executive members and district unit president shared their views and suggestion. The AAPLU President Dana Tadu added.
