ANSU served fresh ultimatum of 7 days to meet its demand or face 2nd phase of 36 hours capital bandh on Dec 6

ITANAGAR, The All Nyishi Students union (ANSU) has served a fresh ultimatum of 7 (seven) days to the state government and has decided to move forward with the 2nd phase of capital band of 36 hours from December 6 (Monday) after the state government has failed to meet its charter of demand.

Addressing the press conference here at  Arunachal Press club (APC) on Friday, the ANSU President Nabam Dodum said that we are also following the democratic form of movement to press our charter of demand, we are not placing any new demand to the state government which are in the interest of development of education sector and welfare of the students community in general. The 1st phase of 12 hours capital bandh was a successful one and it was only due to the support and cooperation extended by all section of society and thanks everyone. He also apologies for inconvenience caused to anyone however the demands are very genuine in nature so everyone irrespective of  post and affiliation has extended their full support for the cause of the reformation of education sector of state. Dodum said.

We have no ego and providing ample time to the state government for the resolution of the charter of demand put forward to the state government time and again and we are still ready for round table discussion for the betterment of education sector and improvement of education scenario and development of state and welfare of students and teaching community. He said.

The two point which include the immediate transfer of Commissioner Niharika Rai, dropping of criminal case registered against the central executive members of ANSU and other 14 points resolution submitted to the state government for various reformation in the education department. He said.

ANSU General Secretary, Gora Rikam Bhai informed that on Thursday the central executive members of ANSU have a meeting has pursued with the demand put to the state government and has decided to pursue with the demand further and also to go forward with the 2nd phase of the democratic movement. He said. 

The 14 point charter of demand has not even resolved and all the charter of demand are in the interest of all community with regards of education department reformation. He added.
