Arunachal Pradesh geared up and ready to greet President Droupadi Murmu on her two day visit

Manoj Singh || ITANAGAR, FEB 19 ; The Arunachal Pradesh is gearing up and fully prepared to greet the president of India Droupadi Murmu on her two days visit on the occasion of 37th state hood day function in city.

Droupadi Murmu is the 15th President of India, she is the first person belonging to the tribal community and also the second women president of country. Earlier she visited the state before she become the president of country. The local people are happy and excited to see her and listen to her as she is form the tribal community and the state is inhabitant by more than 26 major tribe and more than 100 sub-tribes.

The government and administration has been claiming  that all preparation has been completed or it will be completed latest by tomorrow morning.  Due to two days democratic movement in state capital the preparation and arrangement has been badly affected and it was seen that the man and machine were engaged and rather preparation was on war footing and officers and officials were supervising.

The visit of the President on February 20 is significance because on this date of February 20 1987  the state attained as 24th state of country.  The people of state celebrate Arunachal Day across the state and also at various parts of country where state government has its offices and institution with great enthusiasm and fanfare and pledge to rededicate  and dream for better future of Arunachal Pradesh and its people.

The Itanagar capital complex MLA Techi Kaso informed that the president of India is arriving the state on her two days visit and will arrive at Donyi Polo airport, Hollongi and will proceed at Rajbhawan by helicopter and then attend the statehood celebration at IG Park. She would be halt at Rajbhawan. The president shall also visit Arunachal Pradesh legislative assembly, Itanagar on February 21st to attend the special session of Arunachal Pradesh with members of legislative assembly.  

It is a happy occasion that every parents celebrate 37th state hood day and we all should get together and celebrate the day and enjoy the moment. Said Itanagar MLA

He emphasis that the citizens of capital complex should enjoy the day and appeal the denizens to come in advance to avoid any harassment in name of security and checking. Added MLA Kaso.

Itanagar capital complex region (ICR) Deputy Commissioner Incharge Sachin Rana inform that Union Law & Justice Minister Kiren Rijiju Chief Minister  Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Minister, MLA, leaders from various political party, citizens of state, officers and officials from various department, general public and other will be attending the programme at IG Park and later in evening will witness the cultural programmes as well. 

There are arrangement of ten thousand chairs for visitors and invitees and 63 stalls has been allotted which would add to attraction to the guest to showcase out traditional value, cultural activities, traditional items, food competition and many more. Few stalls would also add to the centre of attraction where the war heroes memory would be available of Sino-India war of 1962. Cultural troops of various tribes will also add showcase our traditional value. Said DC Rana.

The state hood day is a historic day and I appeal the citizens of capital complex and Papum Pare district to witness the celebration at IG Park and enjoy and listen to the President of India who would be blessing the people of state from IG Park. Said DC. 

Executive magistrates have been deployed and law and order in capital complex is fully under control, adequate security forces has been deployed by capital complex and briefing has been made by the DGP. Live telecast may also be available. The DC added. 

Capital SP Jimmy Chiram inform that the capital administration has issued necessary advisory for invitees, guests and general public not to bring illegal items, any types of weapon, lighters, objectionable items in view of security reason and restriction is onto bring these items at the venue. The visitors who has been invited and invitation with vehicle pass were issued can bring their vehicle to iG Park parking area and those who did not have vehicle passes have to park their vehicle either at DK convention centre area or at Government Higher Secondary school playground and no vehicle will be allowed to park their vehicle nearby the celebration area. SP said.

The entry of vehicle of VVIP will be from gate located near KIngcub School in lower Niti vihar and no pedestrian will be allowed through that gate. Pedestrian are allowed form C Sector and D Sector gate. Said SP Capital.

Adequate security has been made for security purpose to make necessary security arrangement for the VVIP as per security plan, provide security to people and traffic, vehicle parking and road lining and at the function site. Around 20 company of paramilitary and others has been made elaborately as per 

Traffic will be regulated in city where  the VVIP movement takes place from 2.30 PM to 3.15 PM and 4.15 PM to 5 PM and appeal the commuters to abide by the regulation on the occasion for the convenient of all. Added SP City Jimmy Chiram.

Itanagar municipal corporation (IMC) Mayor Tame Phasang said that our part was to clean the city and cleaning process including swiping by IMC vehicle was underway however it was affected in last two days but we started today again since early morning. He said.

All works has been divided among the corporater and officers of IMC and everyone are sharing their part as Feb 20 is historic day for all of us and we all have to celebrate the day with joy. Added IMC Mayor Phasang.

It is to mention that the Chief Minister Pema Khandu in afternoon inspected the preparation and discussed with Chief secretary, Secretary, chief engineers of PWD, Power and other senior officers and issued necessary direction in view of the president visit at IG Park as chief guest on the occasion of 37th statehood day celebration.
