As part of the Fit and Clean Environment initiative initiated by the government of India, the 31 Assam Rifles organized a comprehensive cleanliness drive and an enlightening lecture on the benefits of Yoga in the picturesque village of Hedman, situated in Arunachal Pradesh.
The event commenced with an enthusiastic cleanliness drive, where the villagers actively participated in ensuring the cleanliness of their surroundings. Simultaneously, a lecture on Yoga was organized, aiming to enlighten the residents about the numerous advantages associated with this ancient practice. The villagers were provided with valuable insights into the physical and mental well-being benefits that Yoga offers.
To provide practical exposure to the villagers, various asanas and exercises were demonstrated during the session. These exercises were meticulously selected to cater to the specific needs and requirements of the individuals present. The participants enthusiastically embraced the opportunity, eagerly learning and practicing the different postures under the guidance of the knowledgeable Assam Rifles personnel.
The villagers expressed their sincere gratitude to the security forces for organizing such a beneficial event.
