YANGTE, The All Yangte area youth welfare association silver jubilee celebration began here in Kra Daadi district with several programmes including sports, culture and literary activities. Tali MLA Jikke Tako appealed to the youths to shoulder the responsibility for development of state and welfare of people.
All Nyishi Students’ Union ( ANSU ) General Secretary Gora Rikam Bhai attended the inaugural ceremony as Guest of honour Respectively..
Tako addressing the function said that time has come for all to cooperate with each other to fast track the development activities for which everyone has to extend helping hand with the elected leaders, agency and administration so that required development takes place. He said.
Terming the Yangte as a gateway for the almost entire Tali area so Yangte also needs to be developed. He also requested the Yangte area citizens and youths to help him in making a good road connectivity for his constituency in time.
I have a mission “Go Back To Tali “ and this mission will help the Tali to get more developed and the people residing in various parts of the state can come back to home and make some required development for their own and I am always there to work for the people. Tako added.
Guest of honour, ANSU General Secretary Gora Rikam in his address said that Youths are the future of tomorrow, youths have a greater responsibility these days in all walks of life. The youth of the area should join hands for Area All round developments, Awareness on drugs and education sectors instead of blackmailing the departments By RTI and complaints. Rikam said.
He lauded the efforts of Both the MLAs of the district Balo Raja of Palin and Jikke Tako of Tali for associating themselves for more developments for the district and also in coming days..
Senior Citizens, public leaders, Goan Buras, teachers fraternity and general public among others were present on the occasion.
