ITANAGAR, NOV 1 : The Capital administration was supposed to carry out eviction to four structures in H Sector area of Itanagar city had only able to seal one of the structure.
The Itanagar Additional deputy commissioner cum Estate Officer Shweta Nagarkoti inform that the capital administration was supposed to evict four structures in the H Sector alleged encroachments and notice were given much ahead, there was some obstruction by locals people there. However one structure was sealed and undertaking was obtained for no further construction work to be carried there. She said.
Sufficient time was given to all in today case and even in all such cases time will be given so that they can approach us with their claim and even opportunity to them. She said.
Administration has started steps for enforcements and further eviction drive and no one should keep on thinking that their turn will not come but law will take its own course of action in time to come. She said.
We don’t want any law and order during such eviction so we did sealing first and further steps will be taken. She said.
200 cases has come to us form housing department while around 150 cases are form forest department. Hearing will takes place and all procedures will be taken and sufficient time frame as per law will be given to the allege encroachers. She said.
If complain will come to me and I will take up officially and legally and natural justice will be given to all and I will do best to make the city a better place, in such works the cooperation and support of the denizens and city dwellers will be highly appreciated. She added.
Meanwhile, Itanagar Capital complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom inform that the several people were seen blocking the eviction drive carried out by DA Itanagar.
Yesterday report of demolition of a government Quarters at Naharlagun and Itanagar were intimated to Housing department but department failed to stop. Something should be done. Like the Housing Department, DA Itanagar can’t be silent spectator.
The Housing Department was requested to cancel the allotment of Quarter who are involved in the encroachment so that necessary legal action can be taken up if the cases are registered against any encroachers of government quarters specially and other in general. DC added.
