ITANAGAR, The Tirap police is trying its best to file the charge sheet of Khonsa police station case No- KSA/PS Case No. 40/2021 U/s 304A/34 IPC in connection with the three child drowning case which took place on October 9. Informed the Tirap SP Kardak Riba.
SP informed that the incident took place on October 9 and simultaneously the case was also registered on the same day. The investigation progress has also been done with all the witnesses examined, two allege accuse namely Anil Kumar, Project Manager and Umesh Kumar Tripathi, Engineer of M/s SKS Infra Project Pvt. Ltd. arrested on 14-10-2021. Both the accused bailed on 15-10-2021. SP said.
The post mortem report examinations were done and reports were received. Case will be chargesheeted soon after examination of more documents related to security guidelines of the MoRTH, company and MOU between PWD Highway and the company. SP added
It is to mention that on the 9th October the incident took place wherein three children were reportedly drowned and died on between the stretch of road connecting Khonsa and Longding, Later a committee was formed to unearth the detail of the incident and the whole incident leading to the tragic death of the three minors was heard by several persons. The committee has submitted its report.
