ITANAGAR, JAN 29 ; The Chief Minister Advisor Tai Tagak along with Mariyang-Geku MLA Kanggong Taku on Sunday has inaugurated the 50 bedded girls Hostel at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan ME School, Katan in Upper Siang district and dedicated to public service.
Tagak attended the function as Chief Guest while Taku attended the function as Guest of honour respectively.
Addressing the gathering Tagak has emphasized the need of better education in the continuously changing world of challanges ahead for the children and equip our younger generations especially girl child. He called for proper use of the new hostel. He also ask the locals to cooperate the administration and government for improving the education scenario of district and state and take the state to a new height. Said Tagak.
Responding to a one point memorandum submitted by School Management Committed requesting for C/O School Compound Security Wall for Protection from encroachments etc. The CM Advisor Tai Tagak has assured them to take up with the concerned authority.
Marryang-Geku MLA Kanggong Taku applauded the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti for imparting quality education ‘Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan’ at rural landlocked place Katan Circle also since 2007-08 and also hailed the visit of Advisor to HCM. ASVS President, Bodong Yirang who also spoke on the occasion.
Earlier Tagak has inaugurated and dedicated 50 bedded girls hostel at Govt. ME School, Pagba, Sangram in Kurung Kumey district on 21st January 2023 in presence of ADC Nyapin, Otem Jamoh, SDO Sangram Pemya Mickrow and others.
Several BJP leaders of district and state accompanied Tagak during the inauguration at Katan.
