DCH Chimpu started with 6 Covid patient

ITANAGAR, APRIL 17 : The dedicated Covid hospital (DCH) established here at the MLA apartment at Chimpu has again started functioning with all manpower and equipments. Informed an official.

The MLA apartment converted into (DCH) hospital which was established earlier during 2020 to serve the  deserving covid 19 patient has was for a time being not functioning due to no patient. 

Nodal Officer (Covid) and Chest Specialist Dr. Tamar Paleng informed that the hospital is functioning normally and as of now we have 6 patient admitted and all are under treatment. Out of 6 patient from various parts of state one patients is stated to be in critical condition. Dr. Paleng said.

One patient has also been referred from Tawang is also there. He said.

The roaster system of medical staffs are already there and our dedicated team of doctors and paramedical staffs are ready to serve the humanity. He said adding that we need to remain alert and obey the Covid SoP issued by the health department, administration and government from time to time which are in the greater interest of the health services. 

Meanwhile, Director Health Dr. M Lego inform that the DCHC Yupia at Midpu is also functioning with two patient. Both the patient are form BRO and are under treatment. He said.

We have informed the administration and government about the functioning of the DCHC Yupia. Dr. Lego said. 

Director Health further appeal all section of society to remain alert and wear facemask all the time when out of their respective houses. Maintain distance from each other and sanitize the hand and maintain cleanliness around the locality to remain safe and secure to fight against the spread of Covid in state.
