ITANAGAR, Apr 23: Pakke Kessang MLA and State BJP president Biyuram Wahge appealed to the youths from the Puroik community to focus on education to develop the society.
Attending the closing ceremony of the Silver Jubilee celebration of the All Puroik Welfare Society held at Nyokum Lapang ground in Itanagar, Wahge said, “The Arunachal Pradesh government is working for the development of the Puroik community.”
Several members from the Puroik Welfare Society addressed the gathering and talked about the development activities and the issues they are facing. The members of the community also submitted a memorandum to MLA Wahge.
While speaking on the memorandum submitted to him, Wahge told the media persons that he would place the copy to the State government for resolving their issues.
BJP vice-presidents Nani Lajie & Tarh Tarak, office secretary Joram Tat, secretary to president Sange Tsering Thungon, Ram Tajo, president, Yuva Morcha were also present on the occasion.
