Itanagar, August 5: The Arunachal Chapter of JCI Group, JCI ITANAGAR ROYALS, today met with the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom and felicitated him for his exemplary work in the fight against Covid 19.
Yayam Bagang, owner of SKYCT K-Brand Franchise, in collaboration with JCI Itanagar Royals, donated COVID -19 KITS (containing Oxymeters, Thermometers, Multivitamin tablets, Zinc Tablets, Battery) to the District Administration as a token of Appreciation, to show their support for the administration in this fight.
High quality, 5 Layered KN-95 masks were also donated by Nabam Vivienne, member JCI.
During the meeting, the Members of JCI informed the DC about JCI’s contribution to the society, such as Building Classrooms for underprivileged children, installation of Water Purifiers (RO) etc. They expressed their hope to be able to help the district administration in any way they can as an NGO.
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is an international organization active in 100+ countries worldwide.
The DC thanked them for their voluntary gesture and hoped that the kits will go a long way in providing immunity to the people in this fight.
The DC handed over the kits to the officers and staff of the DC Office and also to the visitors of the DC office.
The team was accompanied by members Yumli Padu, Dhananjay Morang, Yayam Bagang, Mibom Dai, Nancy Jomoh and Mimi Mangfi.
Later, the DC also handed over “ I am COVID-19 vaccinated” badges conceptualised by the DA to the officers and staff with an aim to express their support towards vaccination.
