ITANAGAR, FEB 01: The Koloriang Police of Kurung Kumey district has arrested one Sub-Inspector in drug related case today with possession of drug.
When contacted over phone, the Koloriang Superintendent of Police Bomken Basar has confirmed the inscident and said one APP Sub-Inspector has been arrested this evening.
He said, “SI Podme Tayeng who is posted in Koloriang Police station was caught while returning from Itanagar with Heroin on the evening of February 1, 2023.
“He was travelling to Koloriang in a line sumo,” the SP informed.
“A case is being registered against him in the Koloriang police station and other legal formalities and departmental proceedings will follow against him,” SP Bomken Basar added.
