National breast feeding week began for mass awareness

ITANAGAR, AUGUST 1 ; The national breastfeeding week (1–7th) August 2021 ” has been observed at Nido Techi District Hospital Raga, Kamle district to create mass awareness among the local population

Briefing the local resident and lactating mothers at hospital premises, Kamle . District Reproductive Child Health Officer (DRCHO) Dr. Kapu Sopin said that breast Feeding is very important for infant and mother ,one of purest gift from God is mother milk for a infant , breast feed immediate after birth within 1 hour is best for infant immune system and protect from any kind of diseases and other benefits for growth and development of a child ,so encourage all mother  to give breast feed after child birth. said..Dr Sopin

He urged the medical fraternity and other person present to spread awareness on importance of breast feeding to infant and self benefits by mother  and  followed by pledge for breast feeding

Dr Nani Tarang, Dr Yadar Kabak and other also take part and spoke on the benefit of breath feeding and shows demonstration to the visitors for mass awareness among the rural population.

Report of breast feeding day celebration has been received from other parts of district and state.
