DIRANG, The power supply to Tawang, East Kameng and West Kameng district of state shall remain suspended and will remain shutdown for a day on February 12 from morning 8 AM to afternoon 3PM. Informed official.
In an official correspondence ‘ Circular’ issued by Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Dirang on Feb 9 said that one day daytime shutdown was sought by power grid corporation of India (PGCIL) for 132 KV Balipara-Khuppi S/C transmission line for maintenance purpose.
The maintenance is necessary and has been approved in the 186th OCC meeting held on dated January 21st under the annual maintenance contract work. The letter said
As such the power supply to areas in the said feather i.e., Tawang, East and West Kameng district shall be affected and the consumer has been requested to bear with the inconvenience caused during a day for maintenance. The Executive Engineer added in the said order.
