Itanagar, Aug 01: The East Kameng Police has taken a significant step towards preparing candidates for the upcoming Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) Police and Fire Service Constable recruitment. The department has commenced the Pre-Physical Efficiency Test (PET) training program to ensure the aspiring candidates from East Kameng District are well-prepared for the challenging selection process.
The training program, organized by the East Kameng Police, aims to provide participants with comprehensive coaching and physical conditioning required for the prescribed Physical Efficiency Test by APSSB. Under the guidance of expert trainers from the EK police personnel, candidates will be taken through rigorous exercises and drills to enhance their fitness levels and overall performance.
Superintendent of Police for East Kameng District, Kamdam Sikom, expressed his enthusiasm about the program and encouraged the 111 applicants to approach the training with dedication and a determination to succeed. Among the applicants, there are 91 male candidates and 20 female candidates, reflecting the growing interest of women in law enforcement roles.
The tentative plan is to conduct the Pre-Physical Efficiency Test at the Seppa General Ground, a suitable venue to assess the candidates’ physical abilities and endurance. Police officials emphasized the importance of punctuality and professionalism throughout the process, advising candidates to exhibit the demeanor and characteristics befitting a future police officer.
The Pre-Physical Efficiency Test training program has been met with enthusiasm and determination from the aspiring candidates, who view this opportunity as a stepping stone towards a rewarding career in the police and fire service.
