State Taekwondo team given warm reception

BORUM, APRIL 3: The 12 members team of Arunachal Pradesh Taekwondo players who participated in the all India inter university taekwondo championship-2022 held at Kurukshetra in Haryana from March 28 to 31 have been given with warm welcome on their arrival back at Naharlagun railway station early this morning. 

Dozens of executive members, family members, friends, well-wishers and relatives present there and received the players and gave them a warm welcome on arrival at railway station and lauded their best effort put forward in the national level university level championship. 

Most of the players from state are from Rajiv Gandhi university and selected from various colleges of state on their merit. 

Silver medal  in groop Poomsae ( senior division) was received by Dorik Gamoh, Atli Nisso and Radha Bangsia

Bronze medal in mix pair poomsae (senior division) begged by Nabam Tasang and Dorik Gamoh.

Suraj Ali accompanied the team as coach. 

Senior members of Arunachal Taekwondo association Tana Suraj, Likha Robin among others were present on the occasion of the reception and honored the players at the railway station.

Robin informed that our players played well and tried their best effort and hope in the coming days our players will play well in days to come and bring more medals and laurels  for the organisation, state and country at all levels. Tana Suraj said that the ATA will put more efforts in making the players skill and strength and knowledge and skill so that they at all levels including the national and international level can bring medals for state and country.
