ITANAGAR, FEB 28 ; The Education & Cultural affairs Minister Taba Tedir on Tuesday has appeal the officers and officials of education department to rededicate themselves for strengthening of education system and improvement of education scenario in state.
Tedir was addressing the officers and officials of education department, DDSE and others officer district who were here in state capital to take part one day state level review cum consultative meeting on annual work plan and budget 2023-24. Tedir said that there is a need of action plan for every school, block, district and at state level so that we can carry forward the work as per planned and policy approved based on the needs based. Priority should also be considered as per urgency and importance. He said.
Recurring and non recurring status as per work plan and scheme should be worked out on priority which may taken up state level for consideration of the government and also financial requirement can be adjusted or granted by the government for strengthening of education system and improvement of education scenario of state. He said.
Tedir spoke in close down of school with zero enrollment, merger of school, government has considered for closure and opening and merger of school only by recommendation of DDSE, BRC, CRC and district administration.
He said the DDSE should take care of all the activities going on in their jurisdiction. He asks the DDSe to recommend the school issue only based in fact and figure and so not recommend anything on duress and pleasure
.
Regards to scholarship, DPC, shortage of teachers, promotion etc I use to take up these issue with all officers. The fund of children uniform should be given directly to the students account directly and said the responsibility will be fixed and ask the officers to immediately open the accounts of students and submit reason as why all the students has not open bank account. Said Tedir.
He said that the books should reached to all the school in timely and no complain should reached to us. He said.
He ask the officers to go through the new education policy which have few dozen pages and know properly about the government policy on new education.
We have tried to start various tribe syllabus as third language and ask the officers to monitor and send feedback on the performances.
With regards to conduct of DPC Tedir said that everyone expect promotion during service period and said that the ACR of the employees should be submitted to the higher authority timely. We have 45 vacancy post of VP and a total of around 70 post and ask the officers to conduct the ACR timely to higher authority and do not block others promotion for other deserving employees.
He ask the SPD and Dy SPD to make a survey of school building and teachers quarter and requested the officers present on the occasion to submit detail and of accommodation of teachers quarter and school building etc. As and when the data is received I shall take up in the cabinet for teachers quarter. He said.
A committee was constituted on school admission fee and said that direction has already been made and in basis of suggestion, advise it will be taken up to the cabinet for consideration. And the school fees slowed to a balance equally across the state. Added education Minister Tedir.
He ask the officers to include the story of unsung heroes of state and the state cabinet has given nod for including the names of more than 170 such unsung heroes of state and let the younger generation know about it.
The CBSE board examination is improving and for which we need trained teacher and ask the officers to get training to the teachers and improve the education system. Tedir further said.
next session he ask the director school education to start with transfer posting as the software is in preparation and directed all the teachers to upload the data of teachers in the portal by March 31st.. so that any transfer and posting of teacher may takes place as per guidelines framed.
SAMAGRA Shiksha Special project director Pige Ligu, Dy SPD Neelam Tan, Director school education Marken Kadu, Nodal officer Joram Muthu and other officers of education department and DDSE of various district places their views and suggestion and planning and important project in their respective district for submission at state level for further perusal and consideration.
