ITANAGAR, JUNE 24 ; The Special investigation cell (SIC) Vigilance team of APP who has arrested the Lepa Rada DLRSO Lomin Lonchung and three others in connection with issue of Land possession certificate (LPC) on Itanagar-Hollongi road on Wednesday has been remanded to five days police custody informed SIC SP Dr. Hemant Tiwari.
SP SIC informed that four persons arrested on Wednesday were produced before the special court at Yupia and all of them were remanded to police custody. All are from the land management department and some of them are working in the land branch of Capital complex at DC Capital office, Itanagar while some of them are transferred to other places. All the four person were arrested in connection with SIC (Vig) PS Itanagar case No-20/2020 u/s- 468, 420, 471, 120(B) of the IPC 1860 rw sec 13(2) of the PC Act 1988 of dated 18/08/2020 which include present DLRSO Lepa Rada district Lomin Lonchung the Capital DLRSO, Then Supervisor Kanungo (SK) Dai Tamo, Ravi Tachang, Mandal and Dealing assistant (DA) Biman Phukan. Dr. Tiwari said.
We will interrogate them and try to unearth the hidden truth behind the case. If we find any suspicious role of any other officers we will definitely arrest them also. SP SIC added.
