ITANAGAR, DEC 2 : Two small children of a family died in a road mishap in the city when the loaded Bolero pickup hit the Mowb-II area of the city on Friday morning. Informed Capital police sources.
The Niti VIhar police station Officer Incharge Inspector G Arangham informed that it is very sad news of death of two small children by vehicle in the city early morning on Friday.
The incident occurred at around 06.30 hours at Mowb-II below PWD Chief engineer (West Zone) in colony road by a loaded Bolero Pick-Up vehicle. The vehicle bearing registration no-AS-07AC/6506 were two children of a family namely Late Bullo Danya（09, Female,Class-III student of VKV Chimpu and Late Bullo Duda 01 and half yrs. Both children are of Bullo Taker . said OC.
The victims succumbed to the injuries at RKMH Itanagar . One housemaid Ganga Thapa 18）also injured in the accident. Said OC.
Inquiries were conducted in presence of the magistrate. PME was also done and bodies were handed over to the relatives for conducting last rites. Said Officer Incharge.
The driver of the Pick-Up Bipul Biswas42）,S/o .Lt.Umesh Chandra Biswas,Vill-Malobasti Christian gaon, PO/PS- Harmuti, Dist.-Lakhimpur, Assam and residing at G-Sector, Itanagar has been arrested into the case and the vehicle has been seized in c/w with the case for further legal action. The officer incharge said.
A case vide NV/PS/Case No.52/2022,u/s-279/304（A）/338 IPC has been registered and further investigation has been taken up. OC . Arangham added.
