Unying Aran festival celebrated at Ruksin with traditional fervor and gaiety 

ITANAGAR, MARCH 12 : The Unying Aran festival has been celebrated at Ruksin in East Siang with traditional fervor and gaiety. Several programmes of cultural, traditional games and sporting activities and literary activities to continue on March 13 also.

Arunachal East Member of Parliament (MP) Tapir Gao attended the function as chief guest, while lawmaker Kangam Taku, Kaling Moyung, Ninong Ering, Talem Tabbo and other attended the function and adders the gathering. 

Briefing the media, MP Gao said the Unying Aran festival is one of the important festival of Adi tribe and it celebrated across the villages and town  and for whole month. This is the first time it has been celebrated in Ruksin sub divisional headquarter in big way and even in future it will be celebrated in more bigger way to unite all the people irrespective. This festival symbolize the deep rooted culture and traditional value and also several events mark the celebration. He said.

After the celebration of the festival the community began with cultivation and engage in agriculture and horticulture activities. He said.

Every members of society engage together and celebrate the  moment for well being, happiness and glory of family, community, tribe and all human being. Added MP gao.

East Siang DC Tayi Taggu, SP, PRI Leaders, PMC leaders, senior officers of state government and district administration, social and public leaders and general public were present on the occasion.
