NAHARLAGUN, AUG 19 ; One person died on spot while another sustained injuries in a road accident on Yupia road on Thursday evening. Informed Papuhill PS OC Giogi Tape.
Tape informed that the road accident which occurred on Yupia road near Sood village this evening at around 4 PM between a Dumper and a motorcycle in which one person has died on spot while other sustained injuries. The injured person has been admitted at TRIHMS and is under treatment.
As per information two people were on motorcycle bearing registration No- AS 01H 3938 met with the fatal accident with the Dumper bearing registration No- AS 07 AC 5350. Reportedly one of the persons in the motorcycle died on spot. The body has been kept at RK Mission Hospital morgue and PME will be conducted on Friday at TRIHMS, Naharlagun Tape said.
The disease has been identified as Rakhe Sagma, 22 years old son of Rakhe Tebin of Boasimla circle of Kamle district. A FIR has been received and a case has been registered and this case is the 1st case of the newly inaugurated Police station vide case No- 01/2021 u/s- 279, 338, 304 A IPC. OC Said.
The cause of the accident is yet to ascertain, both the vehicle has been removed from the scene and seized. The driver of the dumper has been detained. Further investigation is on. Tape added.
