AAPGBGBWA reiterated to work for welfare of people and development of the state

KARSINGSA, The central executive members of All Arunachal Pradesh Goan Bura/ Goan Buri welfare association (AAPGBGBWA) has appeal the state government for enhancement of honorarium being paid to them in lieu for the selfless service being rendered in the welfare of people and development of the area. 

AAPGBGBWA, President, Gichik Lalin informed the media that we have a meeting for the last two days wherein all the distracted presidents and secretary and other executive members have a marathon discussion. Various issues were discussed including the honorarium enhancement of the GBs and HGBs in view of cost escalation of all essential items in the market, providing of old age pension to the retired GBs who may be retired after 70 years. Including the GBs.

Lalin said that the GBs has been doing its best effort in maintaining the judicial system and customary law in the village and also supporting the administration in all day to day work and also executing all the orders given by the administrative officers of the area at the village level. He said. Our organization has been always working for the development of state and order of the government and district administration and administrative officers of the concerned circle. 

Due to the passage of time and technology and computerization, several GBs are educated and experienced and now want to be part of the administration and government in the development process and welfare measures. Adding that the GBs also need an orientation and training programme which the state government need to provide so that the GBs can also equip with several new guidelines, law of the land and government orders and notification. 

Lalin further appeal the state government for providing necessary support and infrastructure tot to the GB association so that we can also act as a development partner and also monitor the work being carried at village level for better and smooth development including the normal duty of maintaining law and order and executing of all the orders of the administration and government.  

It is to mention that a new executive member has also assumed for next tenure headed by Gichik Lalin as President and Nabam Tash with twenty two central executive members who pledge to work for the development of state and welfare of people with active support of administration and government.
