ITANAGAR, AUGUST 1 ; The members of Arunachal Bullet Club (ABC) on Sunday carried out a mass plantation drive and planted around 1000 saplings on the space available in dividers of National highway-415 between Itanagar-Naharlagun in the capital complex.
The Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom and Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu and ABC Chef Tanung Jamoh among other executive members of ABC and other local officials of Capital administration take part in plantation drive.
The ABC Chief Tanung Jamoh informed that it is a humble beginning and hopes it would motivate others specially our younger brothers and sisters to plant trees in and around their residence and any places where they feel that it will grow properly for a better environment and a step in curbing global warming. More such programmes will be held in other parts of the state in time to come. Jamoh said.
