Abu Tayeng appointed as ambassador to promote football in state and country

ITANAGAR, NOV 27 : A senior APCS officer of state government and presently serving as Tourism director Abu Tayeng on Sunday has been appointed as  ambassador of Arunachal Pradesh football association (APFA).

Announcing the appointment of Abu Tayeng, the APFA secretary and All India football association Treasurer Kipa Ajay in a function held here at city hotel today wherein several eminent personality and members of several district football association were present.  Ajay hope that with the appointment of Tayeng into the football family as he has a vast experience in playing football since his school days and even during his posting in various district and department.  His association and interest in football will naturally help in grow of the football in state. Ajay said.

Tayeng has played several matches during his school and college days in various parts of country and has always been associated with football teams of several district and diets and has always motivating the football would help the football game among the students an youths.

Ajay also informed the FIFA in school will be launched in 200 schools of state and Arunachal Pradesh would be first in country to launch the football for school children’s and it would also help to promote football among the school children in early stage and it would help to make football players who will play for their school, district and state and even India and bring laurel. He added.

The AIFF Treasure further announce the schedule of the XIX Tadar Tang state level football tournament-2022 at Ziro  from December 3 to 13 . All the preparation is in full swing to host the tournament.
