ITANAGAR, OCT 31 : The Arunachal Christian Forum (ACF) on Tuesday has carried out cleanliness drive in IG Park after the three days Arunachal prayers festival in which lakhs of people and Christian believers attended.
The team of ACF led by its president Tarh Miri, APF-2023 Organising Chairman Norbu Sonam, ACF Secretary general James Techi Tara, Rev Tana Tagi Tara, Rev Taring Mama, Social service Incharge Joru Doka and others has joined the social service team and clean several parts of IG Park.
ACF President Tarh Miri inform that “ The Arunachal prayers festival was a grand success and more than two lakhs people has witness the three days programme. The Christina believers have attended and witnessed the three days programme and listen to the words of god”. He said.
Through the organizing committee did not arrange canteen for the visitors and believers but some of them bring water bottles, cold drinks, eating material and packed items to eat for themselves and also for those who accompanied from various parts of capital complex, district and state. Being a responsible citizens and organization it was felt necessary that these waste materials are of no use but it turned into garbage which need proper disposal. The team of ACF has began the cleanliness drive on Monday and today is the 2nd day. We tried to clean upto what extend we can clean. He said.
IG Park is for all so it need clean a hygiene so being a responsible organization we clean the park and alwqys look forward the lone IG Park remain clean and a better place for recreation and programeme and morning as well as evening walks for all the denizens of Itanagar city.
