All Ten new luxury Volvo busses started plying on roads to Shillong, Guwahati, Tezu, Roing, Pasighat, Namsai and Miao from Thursday

ITANAGAR, MACRH 11 : All the new luxury Volvo busses started plying to various destination which include Shillong, Guwahati, Tezu, Roing, Pasighat, Namsai and Miao from Thursday to cater to the growing needs of luxury busses under PPP mode and operated managed by APSTS. Informed Itanagar APSTS Sr. Superintendent Tuter Dulom.

Briefing media on the occasion, Dulom said the service was flagged off by Chief Minister Pema Khandu in presence of Transport Minister Nakap Nalo on February 21st to designated locations and the service began from February 26 with two bus. On March 7 four buses were included to fleet and another two on Mach and today on March 10 two more added with a total of ten Volvo luxury buses have been included into the fleet for day and night service. He said.

The Volvo passenger service would be a comfortable journey and the rate has been genuinely fixed and the passenger of this location can avail the facility. Even the passenger willing to avail the service who are located on-route journey can also avail benefit. The interest passenger can take online ticket as has been experienced earlier. He said.

The service has been introduced on PPP mode and the passengers are the man beneficial. Apart of Sumo services and Xylo services to various far flung location of state which include Tawang, Balijan etc. Force traveler are also there including AP Civll sect. the normal deluxe, semi deluxe and normal buses are also covering various destination of various district with state capital complex. The school bus service is still there at KV school. Dulom said.

Almost all the major towns and headquarter of state has been connected directly or indirectly with state capital and the APSTS is trying its best effort to connect the people with state capital by bus services and appeal the people to take advantage and keep the public property for best utility.
