Alo Libang inaugurated an eye operation theatre and 10 bedded drug de- addiction centre at Yingkiong

ITANAGAR, JULY 12 : The health & Family welfare Minister Alo Libang on Monday has inaugurated the eye operation theatre and 10 bedded drug de-addiction centre at district hospital campus, Yingkiong in Upper Siang.

Libang while interacting with the officers, official of medical department, Libang said that the state government is trying its best effort in managing the covid 19 pandemic but all the activities would be a successful one if the cooperation and support of the general public are extended. He said that the state government has been actively doing its best effort and putting its machinery in the best possible way in curbing the menace. The health infrastructure has been upgraded and created during the pandemic and accordingly the general public will be benefited. Libang said.

108 ambulance services were flagged off for CHC Tuting and District hospital Yingkiong and another two 108 ambulance services were also flagged off for Mariang and Geku health centers.

He also distributed laptops to all the health and wellness centre officers of the district, few those who did not receive on the occasion will be provided. Said Libang adding that the Asha workers who are residing in rural places where television are not available were given away with Radio set to listen to the Prime Minister programme Man ki baat.

SPO, NPCB & VI Dr. Taba Khanna, APSACS, SNO, PD Dr. Riken Rina, Yingikong DMO Dr. Dubom Bagra among other medical officers and officials were present on the occasion.
