ITANAGAR, Jul 09 : As soon as the hearing takes place in the Gauwahati high court this month on the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) chairman & board members would be constituted for smooth functioning of the board, said Chief minister Pema Khandu here on Sunday.
CM was speaking to media at the sidelines of inaugural function of Junior Boy’s National Boxing along with sports and education minister Mama Natung and Taba Tedir here at Don Bosco college , Jullang.
There are thousands of vacant posts whose examinations are yet to be carried out by the commission, said Khandu, expressing concern over the aspirant candidates who have already applied for the examinations.
Informing that a few sections of APPSC aspirant candidates have filed a case at court against the commission, conduct of examination has been put on halt, Khandu said, “By the end of this month High Court will be hearing the case,”. The state government may see it after the hearing takes place in the high court. He said.
Speaking on the corruption practices within the state, CM said, corruption was rooted in the state way back before he stepped into politics. but action has been initiated in big way and as the matter of corruption comes it is handed over to SIC and others for investigation and legal action thereof. Said Khandu.
In the span of seven years of BJP government, we as a team Arunachal are fighting against the corruption, said Khandu, adding that someone has to come forward to root out the corruption from the state
