ITANAGAR, JAN 17 : The All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) activist who were detained during the 36 hours capital bandh sponsored by ANYA has been released after the state government approved for release. Informed Capital Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Talo Potom.
In a press briefing to the newsperson just after the release here at Capital DC Office, Talo Potom said that as per detail there were 31 activist and all of them has been released, four of them remain of whom the paper works and formalities are being done and they will also be released. He said.
The activist were detained from various parts of capital complex during the 36 hours capital bandh call given by ANYA. Today evening the ANYA President alognwith Vice President Temi Pabo and General Secretary Dr. Bengia Tada hs informed that they had deferred the proposed 48 hours bandh call and accordingly the ANYA leaders have also inform the people of capital complex through media, people need not to be panic and they should continue with their daily works. Potom said.
To maintain law and order problem, peace and tranquility in the city all stake holders including the Ministers, MLAs, leaders of various quarter including the Market communities, Panchayat and municipality including the community leaders led by NES has appeal the ANYA and the bandh call has been differed. He said.
The state government on all occasion is ready for a dialogue and hope all the problem would be resolved, Every problem has a solution and everything can be shorted out through dialogue and discussion and they have been requested to continue with dialogue with the state government. He said.
The immediate declaration of bandh call create lots of problems and misery and also distract several programmes including the management, if any organisation wants for democratic movement they should approach the capital administration for permission, I have given permission for several way and means of organizing democratic movement to several organization and such democratic movement (bandh call) which has been declared unconstitutional need to be avoided. I have requested the ANYA leaders for deferment for permanently. Potom added.
He further apologized the denizens of capital complex due to inconvenience caused during the 36 hours bandh call during the checking and internet shutdown.
