ITANAGAR, JULY 21 : Arunachal Pradesh is with Manipur and we are organising mega blood donation camp for Manipur which may be utilized by various hospital and medical colleges for the needy people. We are having a target for 2000 units and for which necessary arrangements are being done. Said Arunachal Life saving foundation (ALSF) Chairman Ramesh Jeke.
He said that during the hour of crisis and serious law and order issue which is still underway where hundreds of people has been injured and several dies and may be due to various reason they may be in need of blood in hospital. Even if there is no scarcity we are a sister concern state of the region has decided to organsie mega blood donation camp in capital complex in Itanagar where is it expected that around 2000 units of blood would be collected on donation basis in three days from July 28 onwards which would be held at DK Convention hall. He said.
We have discussed the matter with Tai Tagak Adviser to Chief Minister who may also help us in mitigating necessary arrangement for the purpose. Hope the state government may take care of the necessary transportation like of helicopter etc..
We are here and what we can do for the people of Manipur is that the mega blood donation camp and the arrangement are being made to send the donated blood to Manipur and the state government is supporting the cause. He said.
To help the needy people of Manipur the Arunachal Pradesh is also extending whatever support is made available for the service of humanity will be done. The Manipur welfare society has been carrying social welfare activities once long. This time we are organizing blood donation camp to help the needy people of Manipur during the hour crisis. We hope that the normalcy come soon and peace and tranquility remain very few people come to blood bank but such camps will encourage large numbers of people to come out and donate blood for cause of humanity. Whatever the rules and regulation and guidelines are there which may be taken care but service of humanity is the need of hours so the people may understand. The Manipur Welfare Society of Arunachal Pradesh (MWSAP) in collaboration with Arunachal Life Saving Foundation (ALSF) is organizing 3-day mega blood donation camp’at the Dorjee Khandu (DK) Convention Hall, Itanagar. The blood donation camp will be organized in collaboration with the department of health, Government of Arunachal Pradesh and Ramakrishna Mission Hospital (RKMH) from 8-10 August 2023.
