In a bid to enhance shooting skills and promote values of sportsmanship and discipline, the Assam Rifles organized an Air Gun shooting event for students at the Government Higher Secondary School in Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh on August 21, 2023.
Under the expert guidance of an experienced instructor, a total of 95 students participated in the event, collectively firing 450 rounds. The students were provided with the opportunity to refine their shooting abilities, enhance hand-eye coordination, and gain valuable insights into the intricacies of marksmanship.
Both school authorities and parents expressed their deep appreciation for the initiative taken by the Assam Rifles in motivating and inspiring young minds through this engaging sports event. This event not only enriched the students’ skill set but also reinforced the importance of discipline and camaraderie that sports can instill.
