KIMIN, SEPT 27 : DBT-APSCSC&T Centre of Excellence for Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Kimin, Papum Pare district working in field for research and development on Wednesday has received international organization for standardization (ISO) at a time and become an important institution of state, region and country.
Ministry of MSME, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, Fragrance and Flavour Development Centre (FFDC) Assistant Director A. P Singh on Wednesday handed over the three (3) ISO Certificates secured by DBT-APSCS&T Centre of Excellence for Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Kimin to APSCS&T, Chairman Bamang Mangha and DBT-APSCS&T CoE for BRSD, Kimin, Project Director
Dr. Debajit Mahanta at a ceremony at Kimin in presence of several eminent personality and essential oil farmers of state.
The certificates were given away on the occasion of buyers-seller meet at DBT centre, Kimin.
The following ISO certificates has been secured by DBT-APSCS&T CoE for BRSD, Kimin for its continuous efforts and initiatives undertaken towards viz. ISO-9001:2015for Quality Management System, ISO-14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO-29990:2010 for the R&D Projects, Trainings, Productions, Laboratories, Bioresources and Sustainable Development.
This addition of ISO certification has elevated DBT-APSCS&T Centre of Excellence for Bioresources and Sustainable Development, Kimin and thus becoming the first to be certified with the three (3) ISO recognised State Government R&D organization in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
APSCS&T Chairman Bamang Mangha has congratulated the officers, officials, scientist and other staffs of the DBT-APSCS&T centre for BRSD and motivate them to work with renewed zeal for better research facility to needy to reach to the sustainable goal and all round development of state, region and country.
Several senior officers and officials of APSCS&T, HoDs of Kimin circle, public leaders and farmers from various part of state were present on the occasion.
