DC appealed to all hospital authorities for better coordination with administration implementation for a better health delivery system and successful treatment against Coronavirus

Itanagar, May 14: The  Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Talo Potom today convened a virtual meeting with the Chief Medical Superintendents of both Government and Private Hospitals of the Capital Complex. Various important issues like management of Covid related issues in their respective hospitals, vaccination, testing etc were discussed in detail. Also, ambulance services and transportation of COVID positive patients to the Covid care centres were also reviewed.

Regarding movement of Health workers, the SP Capital Jimmy Chiram urged them to move with proper ID and has also requested others in the exempted categories to take their ID cards along whenever they move.

The DMO Dr Mandip Perme urged all the private hospitals to send details of COVID tests done to his office everyday while mentioning both positive and negative cases along with their  proper names, phone numbers and address for updating the same in the portal.

He also informed that treatment kit for covid -19  are being provided to every testing centre of private hospitals free of cost for treating asymptomatic and mild cases and the requirement for the same if any may be sent to his office immediately.

He also informed that for dedicated Ambulance services for transportation of covid patients, Triage centre at Ashoka Hotel for Itanagar can be contacted, DMOs Office at Mini Secretariat Naharlagun for Naharlagun patients can be contacted and for Lekhi, Karsinga, Nirjuli or Banderdewa, CCC Lekhi can be contacted. He also asked the private testing centres to send severe cases to DCH chimpu by contacting the above mentioned for dedicated ambulance service.

He also urged them to contact the Rapid Response teams of concerned jurisdiction whenever the need arises. He further informed that contact details of all concerned has been circulated amongst the hospitals.

Later, the DC urged all to work in coordination with each other. He also assured that all kinds of cooperation would be extended from the District Administrations side.

Among others, CMS TRIHMS Dr Hage Ambing, BTM Hospital Dr. K Nishing, RK Mission Hospital Secretary and representatives of other government and private hospitals attended the meeting.

Earlier, in the morning while convening a series of virtual meeting with the Corporators led by Mayor Tame Phassang, Arunachal Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Market Associations and Home delivery services, the DC  took stock of the home delivery firms and urged them to ensure  smooth and hassle free delivery to the public.

He urged the home delivery firms to ensure that the delivery is done timely and  that the rates are not charged more than the MRPs or the rate as set by the District Administration.

He also urged the Corporators to extend their cooperation to the residents of their respective wards as and when any need arises while also ensuring that the Containment orders are strictly followed.

Also, in a meeting with the various student leaders like AAPSU, ANSU and Papumpare District Students Union, the DC sought their cooperation to which they assured their cooperation with the District Administration  to stop the chain of transmission.
