Energy conservation week underway, APEDA launch electric vehicle for two days road show in capital complex

ITANAGAR, Itanagar municipal Corporation (IMC) Corporater Tarh Naching on the eve of National energy Conservation week 2021 has flagged off electric vehicle  for two days road show at APEDA  campus on Saturday.   

Nahung while appreciating the initiatives of government and APEDA for encouraging the electric vehicle with motives of free sound pollution, air pollution and conservation of energy in the world.      

He also informed that Pasighat Municipal Corporation is proposed to buy one electric vehicle for PMC staff and also planning two charging point within Pasighat , so if charging points establish then this vehicle will be successful in plain areas of Arunachal Pradesh he added. 

The APEDA Director Marki Loya informed that in two days road show we will provide awareness on electrical vehicle and adoption of electrical vehicle in state for conservation of energy, free from sound and air pollution and also various advantage like low maintenance, low running cost of vehicle etc.  

He also informed that department also planning for Policy of electrical vehicle so that people should get subsidy and interested person can get help. We also planning for charging station various location in capital complex.  He also said Light electrical vehicle will be success in state.

On the first day of the road show the awareness programme was held at  Chimpu, Gohpur, Ganga, Bank Tinali and highlighted about importance and need of electrical vehicle in this stage when the rate of fuel is also high as well as the all the country of the world is discussion for reducing hydro carbon and reduction of pollution in all form. The awareness programme was address by officers and on 12 Decembers the awareness will be held at Naharlagun and Nirjuli area.
