ITANAGAR, JUNE 11 : The former Minister and a senior leader from Arunachal Pradesh Talo Mugli on Thursday while attending a book release ceremony of “ Himalaya hind mahasagar rashtriya samuh’ (HHARS) published by Forum for awareness on national security (FANS) at convention hall of JNU, New Delhi has emphasis unity in diversity.
Addressing the function as special guest Mugli emphasis on Development of Hydropower & Medicinal Plant in Arunachal Pradesh, He exhorted the need to focus on Arunachal Pradesh for Mass awareness campaign in National security & boarder Management along with water conservation. He said.
Some important things are also needed in the region including Arunachal Pradesh in drug prevention, women security etc and also to work for all round development of area and welfare of people so that the people become self reliant and self sustainability. He said.
Mugli being the working president of the state unit of FANS said that the organisation is also working in state in several sectors and feels that some more initiative is needed. He said.
He informed me that I have visited Cambodia along with Dr. Indresh Kumar, senior leader under Panchdham Niyas Trust, New Delhi and suggested that the Shivling temple of Ziro in Lower Subansiri district will be included in the 6th dham pilgrimage and emphasize its importance.
He also informed that he attended the annual general body meeting of FANS at Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu along with other executive body members of others parts of country recently wherein VN Pandey, (Retd) WRD SE who is attached with the FANS and is presently the state incharge also attended both the programme.
Mugli further said that the next meeting of the FANS will be held at Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh in month of October
Lt. General (Retd) Dr. R N Singh, FANS national president who worked in Arunachal Pradesh in various parts, has emphasized that the national security issue has to be focused on priority.
