PASIGHAT, AUG 23: The State Government and Education Department have taken a resolute stand against the recent wave of illegal teacher appointments. Education and Cultural Affairs Minister, Taba Tedir, emphasized the seriousness of the issue during a media interaction at Arunachal Pradesh University in Pasighat.

Minister Tedir stated that the government is unwavering in its determination to address the problem of unauthorized teacher appointments, with a particular focus on the ongoing investigation in Longding. The Special Investigation Cell (SIC) is actively looking into the matter, resulting in the arrest of two individuals so far.

As information continues to pour in from various districts, comprehensive investigations are set to be conducted on a district-by-district basis. Minister Tedir highlighted that due diligence is essential, and a phased approach will be adopted to ensure a thorough inquiry, potentially leading to suspensions, terminations, and legal actions against those involved in the illegal appointments.
