IMC Mayor takes first COVID-19 jab, urges others to follow suit
Following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India COVID-19 free, Mayor-IMC Tame Phassang today the took first jab of COVID-19 Vaccine at TRIHMS.
Informing about his good health after vaccination, Mayor IMC Tame Phassang said ‘it is the clarion call of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get vaccinated to make India COVID free. Like in the country, our state has also offered the first vaccination to our COVID Warriors followed by Bureaucrats and now for public, he added.
He further said’ people should not create any confusion or have doubt on the COVID-19 Vaccine, it is safe and secure’ even Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers have taken the vaccine, he said while adding that Member of Lok Sabha (East) Tapir Gao has also came forward for the vaccination.
Mayor further appealed to everyone to join the mass vaccination against COVID-19. Without keeping any doubts we all should come forward and take the vaccine to protect ourselves, our family, and our society from COVID-19. He also appreciated the dedication of Health departments and other COVID- Warriors for standing tall during the pandemic to keep everyone safe from the virus.
More than 3000 people have been vaccinated in Itanagar, No side effect has been reported yet – Says DMO (ICR) Dr M Perme. He also disclosed that mild fever after vaccination is common and is prove that vaccine is working fine. No need to worry, nevertheless we are always here for any kind of help,added Dr.Perme
Along with Mayor, his mother Niyoni Phassang, Corporator Gyamar Taj, Commissioner IMC –C Chukhu , Chairperson –PPA Kamen Ringu, President –APWWS Gumri Ringu also joined the vaccination
