NAHARLAGUN, SEPT 16 : The Jan charitable society on Saturday has organized a mega blood donation camp here at Tomo Riba institute of health and medical science (TRIHMS) and donate 42 units of blood for in the service of humanity.
TRIHMS Chief medical superintendent (CMS) Dr. Dhukum Raina inaugurated the camp and express happiness to the NGO for the noble job and appeal them to continue in the service of humanity and mankind.
Due to continuous blood donation camp organised by various organization and NGOs maximum requirements of the blood is fulfilled however there demand will always be there as requirements come of a sudden due to various accidents and requirements of blood in the different types of operation and dialysis and other. He said.
He further appeal the people to join hands for serving the humanity and mankind. Dr. Raina added.
The CMS further said that the blood donation is a noble gesture which will not only save someone life but regular blood donation keep you stay healthy and fit, anticipating that you have help someone in saving life.
Jain Charitable Society, Chairman Padam Chand Gangwal, President Ganpat Lal Sethi, Secretary Dilip Sethi, Treasurer Vinod Ajmera.also interacted the donors and thanks them for the support in the service to man and humanity and appeal them to continuous extend support in such activities for the society and locality and humanity.
The Jain Charitable Society President Ganpat Lal Sethi inform that JCS is under the aegis of Shree Digamber Jain Samaj, Naharlagun (A.P) has been doing the blood donation camp of last three years and other social welfare activities including Cancer screening camp at RKM, Itanagar and Naharlagun.
He said that “ life find its purpose and fulfillment in the expansion of happiness, Blood donation is a pure as devotion. Saving lives with your blood is worth thousands of prayer. He said.
He urge upon all likeminded organization to continue with the such noble works in the service of humanity and mankind.
Marvari Yuva manch, Itanagar Samridhi also extended support in creating awareness and actively participated in blood donation camp and motivated other on the useful of blood donation and need for blood donation for emergency purpose in the need of accidents and operation in operation theatre.
Around 150 people has offered for donation However 49 person has able to donate blood on the occasion
