Nyamar Karbak appeals to the citizens of the state to protect and preserve our aged old cultural heritage

ITANAGAR, MAY 02: Lirmoba MLA and advisor to government of Arunachal Pradesh on Home and Tax & Excise Nyamar Karbak today appeal to the citizens of state to protect and preserve the aged old cultural heritage and ethos of the tribal society.

Nyamar was speaking to media on the occasion of releasing of a video album of Galo fusion folk song “ Tabin Koorin” here at a screening hall while maintaining all SoP of Covid 19 pandemic said that a dangerous trend is gong as our childrens  are adapting to the western culture and also liking to various other items in day today life is not good for our tradition and culture. Our tradition is our culture and we need to protect otherwise we may lose our culture and tradition in time to come. There is a need for a mass campaign of our seniors to our younger generation so that they carry forward the legacy of the cultural and ethos of the society.

He lauded the video album ‘ Tabin Koorin’ produced by Komkar Nyodu and young artist singer/lyric and composer Mojum Riram has lots of information related to the rich traditional value of society and we as a community leaders has to perform well to protect and preserve our culture and tradition. Nyamar said.

He urged the youths to come forward to work for  protection and preservation of rich cultural heritage and traditional values of tribal society and also work to protect, preserve and conserve the environment, forest, flora and fauna for our existence.
