ITANAGAR, One person died in road accident on NH-415 in between Itanagar-Naharlagun near 6 Kilo. Informed Capital SP Jimmy Chiram.
SP said, as per information a road accident was reported on NH-415 near 6 Kilo in between Itanagar-Naharlagun at around 11.30 AM involving three vehicle.
A mini bus carrying approx 20 peoples hit one parked Tata Tiago car, the vehicle owner was saved and she is not injured. then Tiago car hit the parked Tata Mobile ( Driver name: Suraj Ali 35 years s/o Abul Samad , he was hit by bus when he came out from vehicle, later declared brought dead at RK Mission). SP said.
Driver of the bus named Umesh Chaudhary of village Lawnhowa, Nagaon Assam was apprehended from the spot and now in Police custody. A Case u/s 279/304A has been registered at ITA PS and further legal procedures will be done accordingly. SP added.
