DOIMUKH, Feb 20 : The Papum pare district police have appealed to the general public to help in identification of a dead body found at 8 Mile on old Sagalee road.
Doimukh police officer Incharge Inspector Inya Ete informed that one unidentified dead body of a male seems to be a non tribal age about 30 to 35 years found in the road side of 8 mile of old Sagalee road and retrieved.
Inquest conducted during which maggots have been found on the right ear side nose and mouth. OC said.
No prominent mark is seen on the body.
A case of unnatural death (UD) has been registered vide 3/22 under section 174 Cr. PC. He added.
Body is taken to a morgue at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS) Naharlagun for post mortem and identification. Msg has been sent to all OCs.
