YANGTE, NOV 2 : Several Community based organisation of state on Thursday has reached at Anung Hapa in Yangte circle of Kra Daadi district to celebrate the 5th general confrence of Takam welfare society from November 2nd to 5th.
The main attraction of the celebration is the inauguration of 32 feet Takam Mollo Todo statue on Nov 3rd.
The four days programme which include hosting of TWS flag, cultural extravaganza, public meeting, games and sports competition, discussion on genealogy (Abotani to Takam, Mollo, Todo), review of by-laws of TWS followed by election/selection of TWS. Distribution of prizes of games and sports, cultural activities and other activities.
Tagin cultural Society (TCS) President Larji Rigia and Nyishi Elite Society (NES) general secretary Heri Maring as Chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
The leaders from TSD, GWS and other CBOs has also arrived to attend the conference.
TWS President Takam Padu, Organising Chairman Takam Dado Tallom, organising Secretary Takam Dari Sojik, general Secretary Takam Sonia will address the function.
Apart of members of TWS, the wellwishers relative of Takam clan. former MP Takam Sanjoy, former Minister Takam Pario, Members from NWS, former student leaders, public leaders social workers among others are taking part.
