The accident Scorpio has been located, search continues for missing lady : Bomken Basar

ITANAGAR, JULY 16 ; The search operation for the third day has been continued and all out effort was to recover the accident Scorpio vehicle with the missing lady co passenger. Informed Doimukh SDPO Bomken Basar.

The SDPO said that the day 3 Search and Rescue operation of the missing lady/vehicle was stopped as it was getting dark. During a search conducted in Pare river near Laptap village. The accident Mahindra scorpio vehicle recovered from the river with the help of local swimmers/NDRF and police in fully damaged conditions but no clue about the missing lady. He said.

The vehicle was lifted 10 metres above the river and it couldn’t be lifted to the road as the recovery Van was operating with a single rope. The vehicle was thoroughly searched but could not locate the lady co-passenger of the said vehicle during the journey from Seppa-Itanagar on July 14. SDPO said.

We have requested the NDRF to resume the search operation for the 4th day to locate the missing lady co-passenger. SDPO added.

The local people, youth organisation of the area, local residents, well-wishers, family members, relatives and the Sagalee administration led by ADC, CO Toru,  Sagalee Police, IRBn team and the team of NDRF from 12 Bn has continuously extended support and cooperation in the search operation since the day one.

It is to mention that two persons traveling in a silver colour Mahindra Scorpio bearing registration No- AR 05 / 5009 met with a fatal accident near Balapu village of Toru Circle in Sagalee sub-division on Wednesday morning. The person driving the vehicle has survived and is under medical treatment while the search for the lady with the vehicle was on.
