KIMIN, APRIL 8 : The Arunachal Pradesh State Council for science and Technology (APSCS&T), Itanagar, A.P in collaboration with CSIR- North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST), Jorhat, Assam is conducting 2 days (8th & 9th April’2022) hands on training cum Demonstration Programme on Citronella & Lemon grass cultivation, Essential Oil extraction, Banana Fibre extraction, TP-16 Bio-fertilizer and Mushroom Cultivation at Rural Technology Demonstration Centre, Kimin.
The two days training programme was held under the project “Setting Up of Rural Appropriate Technology Demonstration Centre”. Local entrepreneurs from around Kimin circle and a Naharlagun based self help group (Self-Help Mother’s Group (HAA)) have participated on the 1st day of this training programme.
The training on Citronella & Lemon grass cultivation, Essential Oil extraction, Banana Fibre extraction and TP-16 Bio-fertilizer were given on this day.
Director cum Member Secretary, APSCS&T C.D.Mungyak, Joint Director Bamang Apo, Dr.D. Mahanta, Project Director, Centre of bio-resources & sustainable development-DBT, Kimin along with 2 resource persons from CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Er. J.J. Bora, Sr. Principal Scientist and Dr.Dipul Kalita, Sr. Scientist, were present during the two days training programme.
