A portion of the boundary wall of RFO Tarajuli is at the verge of collapse

BANDERDEWA, JUNE 19 ; A portion of Tarajuli based Range Forest Officer (RFO) officer under Banderdewa forest division is at the verge of collapse. The Department of Environment & Forest is earnestly requested to take immediate steps to restore and repair it on an urgent basis.

It is to mention that the RFO office is located in Trajuli area in Banderdewa circle of Papum Pare district and surrounded by Assam on three sides and the office is located hardly at a distance of 100 meter from the NH-52. A small portion of the boundary has already collapsed on earlier occasions and a remaining portion is at the verge of collapse and may fall down at any point of time and need immediate restoration and repair and maintenance. It is apprehension that if the remaining portion of the boundary wall collapses, the thief may take a chance and the office security will be at stake.

The Tarajuli RFO is located at an important location  from where an important road leading toward the under construction greenfield airport in Hollongi area passed through there and the office and a old guest house may be utilized for better purpose in future.
