AAPASU demanded revocation of notification for creation of department of Tawang and West Kameng

ITANAGAR, APRIL 13: The All Arunachal Pradesh Abotani students union (AAPASU) has today demanded revocation of notification for creation of department of Tawang and West Kameng if implemented by the state government as seen in a paper of the Finance department recently.

The AAPASU IPR Secretary Janu Tatin while briefing the media at Arunachal Press club here today has claimed that they have found a document of finance department where it is written that a head of account in the name of department of Tawang and West Kameng and if it is true then the state government should without delaying should revoke the notification if issued for creation of department in the name of department of Tawang and West Kameng because there is already a department in the name of Department of Karmik & Adhyatmik Affairs and is already functioning and the state government should immediately issue white paper and clarification in this regard. He said.

He informed that two memorandum has been submitted to chief Minister Pema Khandu wherein we have raised the issue for revocation of order about Tawang and West Kameng department and restarting of Janata Darbar.

The four point Raised by our organisation are in the greater interest of general public which include revocation of order regarding creation of department of Tawang & West Kameng, re=starting of janata darbar, immediate creation of abotani traditions & culture affairs, immediate creation of teaching staff post for third language of abotani community. He said.
The common people even after several trials are not able to meet the Chief Minister at the state capital for their own purpose. Since the Chief Minister is for the whole of state so there is a need for the people of other parts of state to meet the Chief Minister as it was seen in earlier days which was very supportive for the general public and urged upon the chief minister to re-start the janata darbar. He said.
Henka Basar, General Secretary said that due to modernization there is an urgent need of protection and preservation of culture and we need a department in the line of  DOKA and DoTCL for faster development of areas of Abo-Tani area and Community. He said.

He requested the Chief Minister and responded to the demand and immediately created such a department with the creation of a community language teacher for all the Abo-Tani community. As it is known that several local languages are taught as third languages.
Creation of such language teachers will support the sustaining of the other mother tongue, folk tales which are very much necessary for preservation and protection of our traditional and cultural value.
Referring to a paper of the finance department where a head of account has been reflected as department of Tawang and West Kameng which is quite confusing. No one know about the creation of the department but such paper is .misleading the innocent public, we are not against creation of any department and if it is true then such department like DATCA may be created for Abo-Tani community and raised question or else they should issue white paper at an early date. The AAPASU claimed.
