ITANAGAR, APRIL 22 : The activist from Seppa Sol Dodum who is sitting on dharna in the Tennis court at IG Park has refused to sit for discussion with the government representative without camera and in front of the media.
Speaking to media, Dodum said that I have been here after a long foot march from Seppa to state capital for a solution of the potable drinking water supply to the denizens of Seppa township the district headquarter of East Kameng and I am here to press the demand before the government and Hope that the government should understand the genuine demand of the people of Seppa and nothing more personal I am asking. Said Dodum.
A notice for invitation was received but I wanted to speak to Minister for Environment & Forest Mama Natung and Home Minister Bamang Felix before the mediaperson and camera to maintain transparency. Actually I wanted that whatever I shall have discussion let the people know, I wanted a decision not an assurance like the leaders use to give in any rally or meeting without mentioning anyone name. He said.
The drinking water supply is an issue for the general public and not an individual issue and I hope that the state government takes a decision without wasting time keeping in view the genuine demand or else I shall continue with my democratic movement. Dodum said.
I am ready to discuss even at night but in front of the media and said the charter of demand has already been submitted to the government or else the state government may give a decision without meeting me based on the memorandum submitted. Added Dodum.
