NAHARLAGUN, Apr 21: The Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar in Tirap district called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu at his office on Thursday.
Khandu in a Facebook post said: “A call on by Revered Swami Achyuteshananda Ji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar today.”
The visit comes in the backdrop of the institute completing 50 years of its services for promoting education and human resources in Arunachal Pradesh.
One of the oldest missionary schools of the State, Ramakrishna Mission School, Narottam Nagar in Deomali sub-division of Tirap district, is gearing up to celebrate the 50 years.“The institute is completing 50 years of service in Arunachal empowering the tribal students with intellect, good character and strength to stand up for themselves,” Khandu said in the post.
