Activist Sol Dodum shifted to hospital after deteriorating health condition

ITANAGAR, APRIL 28: Following the critical health condition, activist Sol Dodum who has been on a dharna and hunger strike for two days was hospitalized at Rama Krishna Mission hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Dodum’s health condition was briefed by Dr. Tasar Tania who attended former for medical attention deputed by Capital DMO on the direction of Capital administration.

Informing, after more than 24 hours of hunger strike Dodum’s blood pressure is very high instead of low, Tasar said, Neurological disorder (which is a stroke’s symptoms) has already appeared in his body. Adding as per clinical observation he needs a anti-hypertensive emergency treatment.

Dodum has not taken any food and fluids for two days since he sat on hunger strike from Tuesday evening.

Despite bad health conditions Dodum has decided to continue his hunger strike till all the charter of demand is not fulfilled.

“What is wrong in keeping alleged officials under suspension until the investigation is done,” said Dodum.

If they come out clean then they will be automatically reinstated to their respective office, he added.  

He has been demanding for clean drinking water at Seppa township in East Kameng district, restoration of road and institution of SIC to inquire against EE PHE & WS Seppa Division alleging him of practicing corruption and immediate transfer of deputy commissioner and EE PHE from the district. Arrest of all accused in his assault during the protest at Seppa and SIT enquiry the incident.  

 Meanwhile, District Medical Officer Mendip  Perme informed Dodum got admitted at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science after he was referred from RK Mission Hospital this evening.
