Late HN Tedi laid to rest with great honour, thousands paid floral tribute

DOIMUKH, APRIL 27 : The social worker and former Sagalee ZPM Late H N Tedi was today laid to rest at his home at Amba village in Doimukh circle with great honour. Thousands of people of various walks of life paid floral tribute to the departed soul.  

Late Tedi who passed away on April 25 late evening at around 10.30 PM was a great social worker and reformer of Papum Pare district. He was instrumental in education development in undivided Subansiri district in general and Sagalee sub-division in particular. He has always been advocating for education and cultural development of the Sagalee area. He was also known for several initiatives for development in Amba village in Domukh circle. 

Late Tedi was elected as ZPM of Sagalee in 1980-85 and as ASM at Amba panchayat of Doimukh circle in Papum Pare district in 2003-2008. Taken part in several political and social welfare activities in various parts of the district and state.

Late Tedi born on 26th January 1947 at Khyate village in Sagalee administrative circle to Late Nabam Mazi and Late Techi Yata Nabam. He is survived by his 3(three) wives namely Techi Yali Nabam,  Tana Yapa Nabam,  Techi Yania Nabam, 03 sons, 09 daughters, many sons-in-law, & daughters-in-law and many grandchildren. 

The last rite was performed in presence of hundreds of relatives, family members and well wishers at Amba village with several programs which include funeral service.

Thousands of people from various walks of life from Sagalee, Doimukh and Capital Complex attended the last journey of Late H N Tedi and paid floral tribute to departed souls. The funeral service was organized to share views and experiences of several impediment personalities with Late HN Tedi of his works and deeds in his last 75 years.

Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki, Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia, Arunachal cricket association president T C TOk, APPSC former Chairman Nabam Atum, TKCon Pvt Ltd MD Ratu Techi, executive members of Nabam Welfare society led by Nabam Takar, executive members of TLWS, ULTYF, party leaders of various political party, social workers, public leaders, former PRI leaders and others attended the funeral service and last journey of Late H N Tedi.
